Mouser sponsors Team HUGE
Mouser Electronics is excited to continue its sponsorship of Team HUGE as members compete in BattleBots, a television series airing on the Discovery Channel. Competitors must design and operate remote-controlled armed and armored machines designed to fight in a combat elimination tournament.
Team HUGE, based in South Windsor, Conn., includes team leader Jonathan Schultz and other members, who construct their battle-ready robot, named HUGE. The heavyweight class robots weigh 250lbs. BattleBots is currently the only competition in the United States where participants can fight full-combat heavyweight robots. Being limited to 250lbs means participants must get creative with design and materials.
