Mouser and U.S. Sensor Sign Global Distribution Agreement

January 19, 2016 - Mouser Electronics, Inc. today announced they have entered into a global distribution agreement with U.S. Sensor Corp., a manufacturer of high-quality thermistors, as well as resistance temperature detector (RTD) assemblies and thermistor probe assemblies.

The U.S. Sensor product line, now available from Mouser Electronics, includes an extensive variety of thermistors, including glass-encapsulated and glass-coated thermistors, standard and laboratory-grade temperature probes, precision interchangeable thermistors, and inrush current limiting power thermistors. U.S. Sensor's NTC thermistor products are produced using sophisticated, state-of-the-art processing techniques that result in devices that exhibit excellent long-term reliability and stability.

U.S. Sensor's thin film platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) consist of a passivated thin film platinum element deposited on a ceramic substrate. Excellent for use in extreme temperature conditions, the RTD sensors exhibit very high accuracy and repeatability over a temperature range of ‑50 to +500 degrees Celsius while maintaining a near-linear relationship between temperature and resistance.

This new distribution agreement provides Mouser Electronics' customers with a greater selection of high-quality, highly accurate sensors for temperature measurement and control.
