TE Connectivity LUMAWISE LED-Fassungen vom Typ LS sind ein Schnellanschluss-Steckverbindersystem für die Verwendung mit Philips Lumileds Luxeon S. Die Steckverbinder verfügen über einen einfachen, werkzeuglosen Schneidklemmenanschluss mit Schnappmechanismus an ein 24AWG-Kabel. Der Anschluss an die LUXEON S LED ist durch den Einsatz eines leicht anzuwendenden Positionsgeberrahmens vereinfacht, der die LED auf einem Kühlkörper vor dem endgültigen Anschluss an den Sockel vorpositioniert. Um die Integrationsfähigkeit weiter zu verbessern, wird der Sockel in einer Version mit Schnappmechanismus angeboten; dies erlaubt die Nutzung kundenspezifischer oder serienmäßiger optischer Lösungen.
