STMicroelectronics L99DZ80 Door Actuator Driver is designed for state-of-the-art automotive door-module applications. It employs a scalable actuator-driving concept, which includes package and software compatibility with the wide variety of door electronics used by the industry. The actuator driver on the STMicroelectronics L99DZ80 supports all regular door-module loads such as window lifting, lock motors, mirror leveling, mirror retraction, defrosters, and several lighting functions from incandescent bulbs to LEDs.

STMicroelectronics L99DZ80EP Door Actuator Driver is a microcontroller driven multifunctional door actuator driver for automotive applications. Up to five DC motors and five grounded resistive loads can be driven with six half bridges and five high-side drivers. Four external MOS transistors in bridge configuration can be driven. An electrochromic mirror glass can be controlled using the integrated SPI-driven module in conjunction with an external MOS transistor. The mirror glass can also be discharged through a negative supply. The integrated SPI controls all operating modes (forward, reverse, brake and high impedance). All diagnostic information is available via SPI read.
