Renesas Electronics RAA270205 Automotive mmWave Radar Transceiver is a 28nm RFCMOS device featuring 4x TX/4x RX channels and an onboard range-FFT engine. Designed for automotive ADAS/AD applications, the high-performance RAA270205 supports up to 16x MIMO channels for high angular accuracy. This transceiver can cover frequency bands reserved for long-, mid-, and short-range millimeter-wave radar and imaging radar with high-range resolution. Various safety mechanisms, such as on-chip loopback tests, voltage/clock monitors, and digital error checkers are implemented in MMIC to satisfy ISO26262 functional safety requirements.
