Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP3431 Switching Regulators
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP3431 Switching Regulators feature a programmable input current limit that provides accurate overload protection. These highly integrated boost converters have a 600kHz fixed-frequency and wide input range in a QFN-13 (3mm x 4mm) package. The series offers the selection of pulse-skip mode (PSM), forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM), and ultrasonic mode (USM) in light load conditions. MPS MP3431 Switching Regulators start from an input voltage as low as 2.7V and support up to 30W of load power from a 1-cell battery. The constant-off-time (COT) control topology provides a fast transient response. The cycle-by-cycle current limit on the low-side MOSFET prevents current runaway and the high-side MOSFET eliminates the need for an external Schottky diode. Protections include overtemperature (OTP) and programmable input undervoltage lockout (UVLO).Features
