Heyco Skinned-Over Thermoplastic Rubber Grommets
Heyco Skinned-Over Thermoplastic Rubber Grommets (STRGs) feature an IP X5 rating at maximum cable diameter and can be easily applied into the hole by hand for a secure seal. These grommets are pierceable to allow single or multiple cables to pass through. The STRGs feature a 12.7mm to 38.1mm mounting hole diameter range and require a starter hole that eases cable insertion. Multiple holes are also possible with a starter hole of 50% of the cable diameter. Once pierced, these grommets are no longer liquid tight to IP68, but airflow and particulate pass-through is deterred. The STRGs are built using Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) with a hardness of 80 Shore A with a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. These grommets operate within the -60°C to 135°C temperature range.
