Adafruit WINC1500 Wi-Fi® Shield offers a quick and easy solution for adding wireless connectivity to any Arduino-based application. The WINC1500 Wi-Fi Shield is a compact, Arduino-compatible PCB featuring the FCC-certified 802.11 b/g/n-capable ATWINC1500 Module from Microchip Technology. The Shield connects easily to any Arduino-compatible board, using SPI to communicate plus GPIO for control. The WINC1500 Wi-Fi Shield supports WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryptions and can be used in Soft AP mode to create an ad-hoc network. This Wi-Fi Shield offers reliable and secure client connections with SSL and TLS 1.2 support. A prototyping area with power rails is also provided for custom circuitry.Features
