
ABB Dual Output MicroDLynx™ DC-DC Power Modules
ABB Digital Dual Output MicroDLynx™ DC-DC Power Modules are non-isolated DC-DC converters that can deliver up to 2 × 12A of output current. These modules operate over a wide range of input voltage (VIN = 4.5VDC to 14.4VDC) and provide precisely regulated output voltages from 0.51VDC to 5.5VDC, programmable via an external resistor and PMBus control. MicroDLynx power modules feature a digital interface using the PMBus protocol, remote On/Off, adjustable output voltage, and over-current and over-temperature protection. The PMBus interface supports a range of commands to both control and monitor the modules. The modules also include a Tunable Loop™ feature that allows the user to optimize the dynamic response of the converter to match the load with a reduced amount of output capacitance, leading to savings on cost and PWB area. Dual output MicroDLynx modules are ideal for use in a variety of applications, including distributed power architectures, intermediate bus voltage applications, telecommunications equipment, and more.Features
