Das FX3 SuperSpeed Explorer Kit von Cypress ist eine benutzerfreundliche und kostengünstige Entwicklungsplattform, die Entwicklern die Möglichkeit bietet, jedes System mit USB 3.0-Gerätefunktionalitäten auszustatten. Das FX3 SuperSpeed Explorer Kit dient der Auswertung und Entwicklung von Lösungen mit der CYUSB301x-Produktfamilie der EZ-USB FX3 USB 3.0-Peripheriecontroller. Das EZ-USB® FX3-Gerät wird über einen vollständig zugänglichen ARM9-Kern mit 512KB RAM betrieben. Das FX3-Gerät verfügt über eine vollständig konfigurierbare GPIF™ II (General Programmable Interface), die als Schnittstelle zu jedem Prozessor, ASIC, Bildsensor oder FPGA fungieren kann.
The EZ-USB FX3 Controller is powered by a fully accessible ARM9 core with 512 KB of RAM. The FX3 Device has a fully configurable, General Programmable Interface (GPIF™ II) that can interface with any processor, ASIC, image sensor, or FPGA.
The CYUSB3KIT-003 features Rectangular Connectors which can be easily interfaced with any external device. Interconnect Boards to interface these Rectangular Connectors with Aptina image sensor boards, Xilinx FPGA boards and Altera FPGA boards are available as accessories. The Explorer Kit also includes an Integrated Debugger (CY USB-Serial Bridge Controller) which provides a JTAG/UART interface through a standard USB 2.0 port. This supports a PC interface through a separate USB 2.0 connection. The EZ-USB FX3 SDK includes Zylin and OpenOCD plugins and it allows step-through debugging in the EZ USB SUITE.
