ADS119x 16-Bit Analog Front-End (AFE) Devices

Texas Instruments ADS119x 16-Bit Analog Front-End (AFE) Devices for biopotential measurements enable the creation of scalable medical instrumentation systems at significantly reduced size, power, and overall cost. These low-power devices have a flexible input multiplexer per channel that can be independently connected to the internally generated signals for test, temperature, and lead-off detection. The TI ADS119x devices operate at data rates as high as 8kSPS, allowing the implementation of software pace detection. The devices are designed for use in a variety of medical instrumentation, including patient monitoring (Holter, event, stress, and vital signs, including ECG, AED, and telemedicine) as well as evoked audio potential (EAP) and sleep study monitors.
