Stromverteilerlösungen

Die Stromverteilerlösungen (PDU) von Panasonic nutzen Relais für die Fernwartungsschaltung. Es ist entscheidend, dass in großen Rechenzentren ein Fernfunktionsumfang vorhanden ist, sodass das Personal die Stromverteiler nicht manuell umschalten muss. Innerhalb einer PDU wird ein Relais zum individuellen Ein- und Ausschalten der Steckdosen für die Server-Geräte verwendet. Dies ist für drei Hauptfunktionen der Fernwartung erforderlich. In einigen Fällen können nicht verwendete “ „Ghost“-”-Server veraltete Applikationen enthalten, die nicht mehr verwendet werden. Ein weiterer Grund wäre, wenn die Leistung möglicherweise erforderlich sein muss, um gefrorene Server auf Grund von Fehlfunktionen zu beheben. Darüber hinaus kann es sein, dass Server, die zu heiß werden, ausgeschaltet werden müssen.
