IDC Discrete Wire Sockets & Headers

3M brings the convenience of insulation displacement contact termination to the flexibility and choice of discrete wire. Link Connectors are designed to meet the requirements of the CC-Link standard and to enable T-Tab terminations as well as mid-cable terminations. Mini-Clamp Connectors are designed to provide connection reliability and cost performance in I/O applications commonly found in a wide range of sensor control systems, including Factory Automation and Industrial Controls. The Power Clamp offering is suitable for CLPA's CC-Link open technology field level networking applications and protocols. These connectors do not require any special tooling or pre-treatment of cables, and can be terminated using a standard pair of pliers. CHG Series from 3M connectorizes 22AWG to 28AWG discrete cable in a socket which can be plugged into industry standard .100" pinstrip and four-wall box headers. 158/159 Series Sockets terminate to 1mm pitch ribbon cable while the Shrouded Boardmount Headers maximize design flexibility and minimize the PCB footprint.
