FH55 & FH55M 0.5mm Pitch High-Speed FPC Connectors

Hirose FH55 and FH55M 0.5mm Pitch High-Speed FPC Connectors are designed to handle up to 5+Gbps transmission while supporting USB 3.0, PCI Express Gen.2, Serial ATA Gen.3, and HDMI 1.4a. These connectors feature innovatively designed impedance-controlled contacts. Instead of the standard tuning fork shape, the signal contact has a flat structure to provide a straight signal path and eliminate any signal reflection. Strategically placed ground contacts between the differential pair signal contacts reduce crosstalk. High contact reliability and correct positioning are achieved through the side catch in the internal structure of the connector. Hirose FH55 connectors offer a 0.5A current and 50V voltage rating with 40 contact positions. Ideal applications include portable medical devices, car audio systems, satellite navigation, LCD displays, and other portable devices.
