Allegro MicroSystems A89333 48V Three-Phase, Field-Oriented Control (FOC) Driver is a sensorless and brushless DC (BLDC) motor controller that addresses the thermal management needs of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and artificial intelligence (AI) servers. The A89333 series features code-free integration, reduced power loss, and improved thermal management for 48V fans in AI servers. The integrated buck converter helps maximize efficiency, boosting server reliability and extending component life. An FOC algorithm is fully integrated to achieve high efficiency and low acoustic noise performance. The A89333 offers programmable profiles and includes close-loop controls for constant power and speed operations, eliminating the need for a microprocessor-based system and minimizing programming requirements.
